The Lilly Pulitzer website never has a sale section except for 2 days out of the year. There is one After Party Sale in January and one in August. Tomorrow is your day to get discounted Lilly! Even though it is winter and you won't be able to show off your great finds, this is the perfect time to stock up and get excited for warmer weather. So set your alarm clocks and get out your wallets because here are my 5 tips on how to shop this sale like a pro!
1. Make an account
Make an account and then sign in on the Lilly Pulitzer website. Save your address and credit card information onto your account before the sale tomorrow. This will allow you to quickly go through the checkout process to ensure that you get the items you selected before they are purchased by another shopper.
2. Set your alarm and get in line
The sale begins at 8am but you will need to get in the virtual line before you can enter the site. This line can sometimes take an hour or two but do not refresh your page. Refreshing will place you at the end of the line. Trust me the deals are so worth the wait!
3. Filter for what you want
When you finally get into the site you will be lead to pages upon pages of items that are included in the sale. It will be extremely overwhelming to scroll through all of this. I strongly suggest using the side bar on the left to filter your price range and your sizes. This will condense the items to what you will actually consider purchasing. It will help eliminate wasted time clicking on cute things that are either not your size your still too expensive.
4. If you like it, buy it
Now don't go too crazy with this one but just a reminder that even if something is in your cart it doesn't mean it will still be available when you go to check out. This sale moves fast! If you see something that you've been eyeing for months and its in your budget I suggest buying it immediately and then getting back in the virtual line to browse the sale again.
5. Try to relax and have fun
This sale can seem stressful but it is worth the hassle. There is no better way to get deals on Lilly like this. You are sure to find something you love for an amazing price! I personally have never bought anything on the Lilly website unless it was the After Party Sale. This is my favorite way to stock up and treat myself to some Lilly Pulitzer!
