My Favorite at-home Smoothies

I'm not a morning person, so I'm usually rushing out the door before I have time to eat breakfast. Making homemade smoothies has proven to be the quickest, easiest and yummiest way to squeeze in a healthy and filling breakfast. I've never been one to eat a huge meal in the morning so taking a smoothie to-go is perfect.

My Favorite at-home Smoothies:
1) First in the blender are your fruit and vegetables. I love using the frozen Dole mix shown above! Each bag makes 4 smoothies and the flavor combination is delicious! Also, because the fruit and veggies are already frozen, you don't need to use any ice that will water down the flavors.
2) Next you need a liquid. I personally don't like my smoothies very thick so I put quite a bit! The Dole bag recommends an apple juice for their mixes but I like using peach, apple, mango or cranberry pineapple. Whatever fruit juice you have will make your smoothie unique.
3) The last step is to blend your fruit, veggies, and fruit juice! Simple as that!
