Magnetic Lashes Review

I have been a huge fan of glue-on adhesive false lashes since my days of dance recitals and competitions! I love the look of a dramatic lash and have become quite good at applying them. About a month ago I discovered these non-adhesive, magnetic lashes made by Ardell. I got them at Ulta for $14 and I can confidently say that I will never glue on lashes again!
The package comes with four strips; two for your right eye and two for your left eye. There are four magnets on each strip. First you place the upper strips to above your natural lash line. Then you place the lower strips beneath your natural lashes. The magnets will meet, clinging the two false strips together with your natural lash in between them. The magnets are strong enough to hold the lash on for an entire day without slipping! But don't worry, the magnets are not strong or big enough to pinch your eyelids!

Because there is no glue involved in this process, the lashes remain clean and new looking after each wear. For this reason, you can keep applying them until the magnets fall off, making the lash unwearable. My first pair lasted about fifteen wears before the magnets fell off. $14 for fifteen wears is a pretty good deal!
My first pair that I bought were the "Double Wispies". I liked them but they were a little too dramatic for everyday wear so this time I bought the "Double 110". These are still full looking and give me length, but they look more realistic. Ardell also makes a version called, "Accents" that is essentially just half a strip so that it only accents your outer corner.

The picture shown above is what my lashes look like after both right sides and both left sides are stuck together. I then cut the strips in half. This allows for much easier application! Trying to magnet the whole strip to your eye is hard when trying to get it as close to your lash line as possible. By cutting them into two pieces per eye, it makes it so much easier to apply.
If you try these, let me know how you like them!
Xoxo, Liv
